Cops step up efforts to nab culprits

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD Jan. 17. Different wings of the city police have intensified efforts on Friday to nab the culprits involved in the two sensational cases -- robbery attempt at Venkatesewara temple (Birla mandir) and looting of an e-seva centre at Malakpet.

Rumours did round that the Ranga Reddy district police succeeded in tracing the criminals.

However, the district SP, M.V. Ramachandra Raju, refuted the reports.

The city police officials remained tight-lipped about the progress into the investigation of the two incidents which occurred within a gap of 12 hours on Thursday.
