JSC meeting cancelled

JAMMU JAN. 17. The first meeting of the Joint Screening Committee (JSC), set up in December by the Jammu and Kashmir Government and the Centre to scrutinise cases of militants and political prisoners in the State for their release, was cancelled today as the Central Government's representative and joint secretary in the Union Home Ministry, Rakesh Ahuja, could not make it due to cancellation of his flight from New Delhi.
