By Our Special Correspondent

BANGALORE JAN. 17. The Sankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, Sri Jayendra Saraswati, said here on Friday that he would work towards bringing the Babri Masjid Action Committee (BMAC) and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad to the negotiating table through the good offices of the Prime Minister.

"I will request the Prime Minister to bring the BMC and the VHP to the negotiating table. But, I will not be a mediator. I will just be an instrument,''the Acharya told presspersons at the International Art of Living Foundation (AOL) Centre.

He was here to attend the World Conference on Spiritual Regeneration and Human Values.
