The team, consisting of N. Indrasena Reddy, party leader in the Assembly, S. V. Seshagiri Rao, State vice-president, and K. Laxman and Premsingh Rathod, both MLAs, visited the temple this morning, and interacted with the head priest who saved the situation by his common sense. The BJP leaders, through interaction with the staff and others, came to know that the intruders wore masks and carried revolvers. In a statement later, they regretted that this incident took place very near to the Secretariat, and held mirror to the safety of aspects of other temples in the State.
