The first phase of functional tests has been conducted successfully and after further checks, the satellite would become operational as per schedule according to the schedule, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan, the official news agency. An agency report said the satellite would help further decrease the bandwidth rates, as there would be additional bandwidth available.
