Special economic zone in Pondy soon: CM

Pondicherry Jan.11. The Chief Minister, N. Rangasamy has said that steps were intensified to set up a Special Economic Zone to ensure that the revenue base of Pondicherry improved a lot.

Inaugurating a four-day PC Expo (Computer Exhibition) organised by Pondicherry Computer Society here on Friday, he said that computers would be introduced in all sectors. Very soon computer education would be introduced from the middle school level by the Administration.

The Education Secretary, M. Sathiavathi said authorities had intensified measures to expose the children to computer.
