'Skybus' for Goa

Panaji Jan. 2. The Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, has given his `nod' for the prestigious Rs. 350-crore ``Metro Skybus'' project for Goa, linking the commercial town of Mapusa with the State capital.

The Chief Minister, Manohar Parrikar, told PTI here today that the Prime Minister cleared the Centrally-funded project yesterday after he was briefed on it. Initially it would link Mapusa with Panaji, covering a distance of 12 km, he said.
