Sculptor in line for Guinness records mention

HYDERABAD Dec. 1. Sculptor, A. Velu, who completed a marathon exercise of 101 paintings using medicinal colours in 25 hours in January earlier this year has earned plaudits from the authorities of the Guinness Book of World Records.

The versatile artiste, working as a deputy stapathy in the Endowments Department, had performed the feat at City Central Library in Ashoknagar.

He is now awaiting a final clearance from the Guinness authorities for a mention in the book, according to a press release.
