Passengers were asked to get down at the station. A bomb disposal squad, consisting of four sleuths and a sniffer dog, which arrived from Nalgonda town at 12 a.m. made a thorough search of the train. The search was on when last reports came in. Local police have been rushed to the station. Meanwhile, utter chaos prevailed at the station as the passengers were forced to disembark and asked to wait for over three hours as the search was carried out. As it was dinner time and with shortage of water and food passengers had a tough time. Some of the passengers entered into an argument with the authorities and tried to take out their luggage. But the sleuths and officials refused to allow them into the train. The APCC general secretary, P. Sudhakar Reddy, the BJYM State president, Naresh, were among the leaders travelling by the train.
