Pakistan piled up 300 for seven off their 50 overs with Zimbabwe being dismissed for 230. And it was Younis who proved the man of the moment. First, he top-scored with 90 before turning his attentions to the field where he ran out two Zimbabweans, caught four more and when temporary captain Inzamam ul-Haq asked him to bowl towards the end, he picked up a wicket with his first delivery. The victory marked a successful conclusion to the tour for Pakistan. Pakistan won the two Tests - by 119 runs and by ten wickets - and was only tested once in the series of five one-dayers when it won the second match by just seven runs. However, the visitors were in trouble early in their innings today. They lost Kamran Akmal and Misbah ul-Haq with just 16 on the board and when Faisal Iqbal, who hit a century in his team's win yesterday, went soon afterwards for 25, Pakistan were struggling on 39-3. Inzamam ul-Haq didn't stay long, giving a catch back to bowler Brian Murphy when he had made 27 to leave the tourists on 90-4. But Younis, whose career best 90 came off 75 balls, and Yousuf Youhana, with 88 off 93, put on 129 for the fifth wicket. It was Youhana's first dismissal of the series, in which he blasted the Zimbabwe bowlers for 405 and passed the 4,000 run mark for one-dayers. It was the fourth consecutive time Pakistan had reached 300 or better when batting first and Zimbabwe were never seriously in the chase.
