The Chief Minister, Neveen Patnaik, led the signatories of the written pledge, which the organisers claimed might adorn the pages of Guinness Book of Records as the world's longest-ever signature campaign against AIDS/HIV. The white banner had on it a number of slogans aimed at creating mass-awareness about the killer disease. People were seen putting their signature on the banner and writing new slogans coined by them throughout the day.
