Oslo meeting a flop: Swamy

By Our Special Correspondent

CHENNAI NOV. 27. The Janata Party president, Subramanian Swamy, today described the Oslo eeting called by the Norway government at the initiative of the Sri Lankan Prime Minister and the LTTE as a "total flop" in providing legitimacy to the LTTE.

In a statement, he also said the meeting did not achieve its main purpose of raising funds for ehabilitation. Although Norway claimed that 40 countries participated, only $ 60 million was pledged at the international donors conference.
