Nalco dividend

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Chairman and Managing Director of National Aluminium Company, C. Venkataramana, presented a cheque for Rs. 224.60 crores, being the dividend for 2001-02, to the Union Minister for Coal and Mines, Uma Bharati, in New Delhi on Tuesday. According to a Nalco communication, the balance amount of Rs. 33.12 crores has also been disbursed to other shareholders. Nalco had announced a 40 per cent dividend last fiscal.
