Attempts suicide

Ahmedabad Nov. 26. A woman Congress corporator from the city's Dariapur constituency, an aspirant for the Assembly ticket, allegedly attempted to commit suicide today after she was denied the ticket by the party for the December 12 elections.

Nazneen Bastawala reportedly consumed anti-depressant pills tablets and was rushed to hospital, the Emergency Medical Officer said. — PTI.
