Additional charge

location> NEW DELHI NOV. 9. The Disinvestment Minister, Arun Shourie, has been given additional charge of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry held by Murasoli Maran, who is now being treated in the Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. Mr. Maran will, however, continue in the Union Cabinet as Minister without portfolio. Mr. Shourie has been quoted as saying that the additional charge is temporary till Mr. Maran returns to work.
