Hate campaigns

Sir, — This refers to your Editorial `Vicious and incendiary' (Oct. 17). The Thackerays, Singhals, Modis and Togadias are busy with their hate campaigns through their provocative and intimidatory statements. Such diatribes should be treated on a par with extremism and disciplinary action taken against them under the IPC as they create tension and unrest.
