Andhra Pradesh-Hyderabad
By Our Staff Reporter
In a statement here, students said the minority colleges were collecting an additional fee of Rs. 9,000 from each student claiming that the AICTE had permitted them to do so. They said the APSCHE and the Universities concerned had rejected the additional fee and threatened to take action against erring colleges. However, despite the Government making it clear that no additional fee could be collected, the colleges continued to do so, they said. The students said poor students from the community were suffering and the Government should take notice of the issue and order an enquiry.
