Robbers shoot at supervisor of company

BANGALORE OCT 9. Three armed gangsters made an attempt to rob the supervisor of a company in Ulsoor police station limits on Wednesday.

According to police, they shot at Udaya Kumar, supervisor in TCS and Sons, dealers in ITC products, in front of the ITC godown on Service Road at Domlur.

Mr. Kumar was about to take his two-wheeler from the parking lot when the robbers attempted to snatch his bag. He gave resistance, and one of them shot him in his knee. When they found neither cash nor other valuables in the bag, they took him to the first floor of the building and searched the bag again before fleeing.

Mr. Kumar has been admitted to Manipal Hospital.

Man attacked

Syed Jabiulla of RPC Layout was injured when some persons attacked him with a machete in Vijayanagara police station limits on Wednesday afternoon. He told police that some persons from his community were against him for running a madrasa.
