The Lokayukta was shocked to see the hospital with no semblance of order. There was lack of coordination between the three senior doctors. He also found that the medicines required were not available at the store. The patients complained about the lack of coordination between the doctors, S.G. Naik, Nagesh, and Alumelamma, and their indifferent attitude towards them. They alleged that Dr. Alumelamma was a drug addict, and the three doctors were not punctual. The Lokayukta warned the doctors and the staff, and said he would issue notices to them on Thursday. He also took the Tahasildar, Allah Bakash, to task for not maintaining records properly. The situation was no different at the sub-registrar's office. He directed the Sub-Registrar, Megha Raj K.M., to clear pending files without delay. The Lokayukta also visited government offices at Vijayapura. He detected large-scale irregularities in the Vijayapura Town Municipal Council office and registered a case against Rame Gowda, who has been working there for the past 16 years, for misappropriation of funds.
