7 policemen killed

Ranchi Oct. 9 . At least seven policemen were killed and two critically injured in a landmine blast in Palamau district today. According to the Director-General of Police, R.R. Prasad, the police party was on its way to Hariharganj from Daltonganj to distribute salary to security personnel deployed there when the explosion occurred.

The mini truck in which they were travelling hit the landmine in Kandaghati under Vishrampur police station area. — UNI
