7 drowned in boat capsize

Guwahati Sept. 5. At least seven persons were drowned when their boat capsized in the Bramhaputra river in upper Assam's Dhemaji district today.

A country boat carrying 22 persons from Jonai to Dhemaji capsized in the mid stream of the river, sources said.

Fifteen persons swam to safety.
