PM talks to Naidu

HYDERABAD July 15. With the election of the President behind him, the Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, has begun the process of consultations for the choice of the Vice-President.

Mr. Vajpayee spoke to the Chief Minister, Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu, over telephone on Monday to seek his views.

Informed sources said Mr. Naidu left the matter to Mr. Vajpayee, implying that he would sail with the decision of the latter.
