Praising India's successful run-chase against England in the final of the limited-overs series at Lord's, Kapil said that the Indians had been in outstanding form but needed to be careful to avoid burning out before next year's World Cup. ``This is a fantastic win for India. We don't witness such victories often,'' Kapil told New Delhi Television on Monday. He said the salient feature of the victory was the performance of Indian youngsters, who had injected tremendous passion into the national squad. Kapil said the Indian team would now be confronted with soaring expectations from fans, and it needed to ensure against injuries and burn out. ``The World Cup is still far away and there's a lot of cricket to be played before that,'' he said. ``The schedule shouldn't have been packed to this extent, but that's how things stand. The team will need to be mentally and physically strong to sustain this form.'' The World Cup will be held in South Africa next February and March. AP
