Protest against Jayalalithaa

Colombo April 29. A protest by Sri Lankan Tamils in Trincomalee district against the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, J. Jayalalithaa's resolution demanding extradition of the LTTE supremo, V. Prabakaran, led to a clash, leaving at least three army personnel and a police constable injured. Hundreds of men and women carrying anti-Jayalalithaa placards demanded that the Tamil Nadu Government as well as the Centre support the ongoing peace process to end the ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka ``instead of making moves to sabotage it.''
