Gilbert shines in Palmyra A's win

PONDICHERRY APRIL 29. A. Gilbert (126 not out) starred in Palmyra `A's eight- wicket win over Mercury in a first division encounter of the IOB-Pondicherry Cricket Association league held here recently.

Ponnusamy's century (106) was instrumental in Challengers `A' trouncing Metro `A' by 119 runs in a first division contest.

In another first division match, Pandian's six for 13 helped Crazy Colts posting a nine-wicket win over President `A'. Chandra Mouli's six wickets haul (for 20 runs) enabled Victory `A' beat United by three wickets in a first division match.
