Bypoll: KPCC shortlist soon

Bangalore April 29. The KPCC will be shortlisting five names for selection of the party candidate for the May 31 Assembly byelection from the Narasimharaja constituency in Mysore city. The KPCC President, Allum Veerabhadrappa, told presspersons today that there were 14 aspirants for the ticket. They would forward the shortlisted names to the AICC for selection. The byelection has been necessitated by the death of the former minister, Aziz Sait.
