Addressing presspersons, Mr. Saravanan said the company was in the process of setting up an additional centre which will house 500 seats at Velachery in Chennai. The new facility would be operational by July this year and would feature the latest technology with the best of breed equipment. The centre would be fully integrated with the existing facility and would complement each other from both the services and a redundancy perspective. With this expansion, Allsec would have a capacity of 675 seats. The expansion plan is funded with private equity investments from Eurindia, a leading Global India-centric venture fund and Kotak Mahindra Venture Capital Fund. Both the companies will invest Rs. 15 crores to part finance the expansion project. The balance amount will be raised as debt from the existing lender, IDBI.
