India in group II of Asia-Oceania tourney
NEW DELHI
APRIL 29.
India has been seeded fifth and clubbed with the third-seeded Australia, Chinese Taipei and Indonesia in group II in the league phase of the Asia-Oceania world junior under-14 tennis tournament to be held in Colombo from April 30. There are 15 teams in the fray for the four qualifiers' spot.
The groups: Group I: 1-Korea, Syria and Hong Kong; Group II: 3-Australia, 5-India, Chinese Taipei and Indonesia; Group III: 4-Japan, 6-Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Uzbekistan and Group IV: 2-China, Thailand, Pakistan and New Zealand.
