Corpn. extends time for suggestions on hawking zones

CHENNAI, DEC. 8. The Corporation has extended the time limit for receiving suggestions from hawkers and the public on the draft scheme on hawking zones in the city by a week.

Following poor response from the hawkers, the civic body decided to extend the date from December 7 to 14, a release said. Only 35 representations were received during the last 15 days.
