Four share lead
MYSORE, DEC. 8. Four players, National under-10 champion and top seeded K. Vijay Keerthi, State under-15 No.1 and third seeded H. D. Jagadish and unseeded local lads T. S. Pradeep and B. Gurushankar shared the lead with three points each at the end of the third round in the State under-18 boys and girls chess championship here on Saturday.
In the girls section unseeded M. Kavana shocked top seeded A. Deepa (the reigning State under-19 No.1) to maintain a clean slate and shared the lead with Priyana (Belgaum) with three points at the end of the third round.

MYSORE: Southern Karnataka badminton championship: The Mysore District Badminton Association will conduct the Prabhu Ceramics Southern Karnataka badminton championship at the Vontikoppal Club, Mysore, from Dec.14 to 16. Events will be held for Sub-junior boys, men's, veteran doubles (40+) and women's singles.

MYSORE: Inter-schools cricket tourney: The KSCA Mysore Zonal Committee will conduct the Mysore Zone inter-schools cricket tournament (under-14 and 16) from Dec. 10 at different grounds in Mysore.
