Feroz triumphs
KATHMANDU, DEC. 8. Feroz Ali's home stretch was laden with a double bogey and a bogey, but his overall lead was enough to ensure him the title at the Rs.9 lakh Surya Nepal Masters golf tournament here on Saturday.
It was second title in Nepal for Feroz, who made a double bogey on the 15th and a bogey on the 17th. Earlier, Feroz has scored an eagle on the 12th and four birdies on the onward journey for a final round card of two-under 70. Feroz's aggregate of nine-under 279 was three strokes better than Uttam Singh Mundy, who shot a 70 on Saturday.
Shiv Prakash had the best card of the day, 69, to finish third at 284, while Mohd. Maqbool authored his best finish of the season with a fourth place at 285. Order of Merit leader on the Hero Honda Indian PGA Tour, was fifth with 286.
