Vinson M. Paul, Sakhare transferred

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, NOV. 6. The Government today ordered the transfer of the Deputy Inspector General of Police (Kannur Range), Mr. Vinson M. Paul, and the Kozhikode City Commissioner, Mr. Vijay Sakhare.

The transfers come against the background of complaints regarding the arrest of the Kozhikode DCC president, Mr. M. Veerankutty, by the Kozhikode police on November 1.

According to a press release, Mr. Paul had been posted as DIG of Ernakulam Range and Mr. Sakhare as Superintendent of Police (Railways) in Thiruvananthapuram.

Mr. Mohammed V.S. Yasin, DIG (Ernakulam Range), has been posted as the DIG of Kannur Range. The SP (Kollam), Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Patnaik, was moved as the Kozhikode City Police commissioner.

The SP (Ernakulam Rural), Mr. Y. Anil Kumar, was posted as Ernakulam City Police Commissioner and the Ernakulam City Police Commissioner, Mr. R. A. Chandrasekhar, was posted as SP (Ernakulam Rural). The SP (Railways), Mr. P. Sreenivasan, was posted as SP, Kollam.
