Temple looted
By Our Staff Reporter
BHUBANESWAR, NOV. 6. About 8.5 kg of silver articles and 25 gm of
gold jewellery were stolen from the Lingaraj temple here today.
According to the police, the culprits had broken open the door of
the main temple and four other smaller temples inside the complex
and took away the valuables.
The police, however, have recovered a silver mask weighing about
5 kg from a well inside the temple.
A case in this regard has been registered at the Lingaraj Police
Station.
