CCS reviews situation
NEW DELHI, SEPT. 21. The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS)
today reviewed the scenario in the region in the wake of
developments arising out of the terror strikes in the U.S.
The meeting lasting 90 minutes, was chaired by the Prime
Minister, Mr. A.B. Vajpayee and attended, among others, by the
External Affairs and Defence Minister, Mr. Jaswant Singh, the
Home Minister, Mr. L.K. Advani and the Deputy Chairman of the
Planning Commission, Mr. K.C. Pant, chiefs of the three services
and security agencies, besides top officials.
