HC ruling on Lok Pal

CUTTACK, SEPT. 21. In a significant judgment, the Orissa High Court today quashed the appointment of retired judge, Mr. K. P. Mohapatra, as the Lok Pal, stating the appointment was not in accordance with the law. Acting on a writ petition, a Division Bench of the High Court said due process was not followed under the provision of the law.
