Dhanush test-fired
By Our Special Correspondent
NEW DELHI, SEPT. 21. The country's first indigenous ship-to-ship
missile, Dhanush, was successfully launched today from a Navy
vessel at sea. The 8.56 metre-long Dhanush has a strike range of
250 km. and was exclusively developed by the Defence Research and
Development Organisation.
The Navy will soon move towards operationalisation of the system.
The launch was the second flight test to measure the missile's
parameters.
