AI engineers protest
By Our Special Correspondent
NEW DELHI, AUG. 1. About 350 Air India engineers today observed a
``protest day'' at Mumbai by not reporting for work in ``non-
operational areas'' in what they described as violation of an
agreement with them by the management, which includes postings
abroad and aircraft certification allowance.
An airline spokesperson said the management had not violated any
agreement and some of the issues were pending before the high
court and the Regional Labour Commissioner.
