Redemption of US-64
NEW DELHI, AUG. 1. On the first day after lifting of the freeze
on the US-64 unit scheme, the Unit Trust of India today cleared
660 cases of redemption from small investors in the northern
region, totalling Rs. 94 lakhs. The UTI received the applications
through 16 branches, averaging about 1500 units per case against
the exit package allowing redemption of 3000 units per small
investor.
