Microsoft unveils .Net curriculum
NEW DELHI, JULY 26. Microsoft Corporation India today launched
its official curriculum (OC) for .Net courses in India with the
curriculum components including XML web services foundation
skills.
``.Net is Microsoft's vision for the future of Internet computing
and provides tremendous opportunities for Indian developers and
IT professionals," Mr. Rajiv Kaul, managing Dircetor of Microsoft
India, said.
The new Microsoft OC is aimed at empowering developers to create
programmes that transcend device boundaries, and harness the
connectivity of the Internet and in this sense bring about a
fundamental shift in software development, Mr. Kaul added.
The key components of the .Net curriculum are: xtensible markup
language (XML) web service foundation skills, Microsoft.Net
framework and system services and Microsoft visual studio .Net.
The curriculum would provide comprehensive training material to
help IT professionals develop support and implement realtime
solutions based on .Net. The course would be made available at
about 120 Microsoft certified technical education centres (CTEC)
across the country.
