Training in rainwater harvesting
By Our Staff Reporter
CHENNAI, JULY 26. The Metrowater has proposed a three-pronged
strategy to promote rainwater harvesting (RWH) in a `big way'.
An official release issued today said training, free technical
guidance and community participation were the components of the
strategy. The training programme would be held on Tuesdays,
Thursdays and Saturdays, starting from July 28, at the
Metrowater's Training Centre in Aynavaram (Ph:644 2611). For
further details, the interested persons could contact the Senior
Hydrogeologist at the Metrowater's headquarters in Chintadripet
(Ph:8535257 and 8535976, extension: 295).
