Ramesh death was 'more than suicide'

CHENNAI, JULY 26. ``It is more than a suicide'', the Chennai
Police Commissioner, Mr. K. Muthukaruppan, said today, referring
to the death of Ramesh, a civil contractor and close associate of
the Chennai Mayor, Mr. M. K. Stalin.
Ramesh, his wife and three children were found dead in their Anna
Nagar residence here on July 16 and it was presumed to be a case
of suicide.
Mr. Muthukaruppan told mediapersons, ``We will come out with more
facts in a couple of days. Post-mortem report revealed the
presence of cyanide in the victims''. Earlier, the police
recovered pesticide and cool drink bottles from the victim's
house.
