Paes and Bhupathi in last eight
PARIS, JUNE 4. The former number No. 1 doubles team of Leander
Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi moved into the quarterfinals on Sunday
upsetting third seeds Jiri Novak and David Rikl of the Czeck
Republic.
The unseeded Indian duo, winner here in 1999, won in straight
sets 6- 3, 6-1.
In the mixed doubles, Paes and American Lisa Raymond moved into
the third round after getting a walk-over from Andrew Florent of
Australia and Sandrine Testud of France.
