Massive win for Australia

LONDON, JUNE 4. Australia beat Worcestershire County Cricket Club
by a huge margin of 360 runs on the third and final day of the
Vodafone Challenge Series Trophy at the County Ground, New Road
in Worcester on Sunday.
In the morning session, the Australians opted for more batting
practice and extended their lead from 424 runs to 548, and
declared their innings before lunch, at 360 for the loss of eight
wickets. Facing an uphill task of scoring 549 runs for a win on
the final day, Worcester was bowled out for 188.
lBrief scores: Australia 351 all out & 360 for eight decl. in 67
overs (R. Ponting 65, M. Hayden 65, M. Waugh 48, S. Warne 41 not
out, M. Rawnsley three for 108) bt Worcestershire 163 all out &
188 all out in 57.3 overs. (D. Leatherdale 72, G. McGrath four
for 31).
