2 killed in road accidents in City

BANGALORE, JUNE 4. Two persons were killed and 22 injured in two
road accidents here in the early hours of Monday.
In the first incident, Dr. Arpana (25) of J.P. Nagar was killed
and eight injured when the Tata Sumo in which they were
travelling overturned in heavy rain on Airport Road near
Munikolalu at around 1.45 a.m.
The injured, including the driver of the Tata Sumo, Mr. Bhaskar,
were admitted to hospital with minor injuries. The HAL police
have registered a case.
In another incident, Archana (9) was killed and 14 persons were
injured when the Swaraj Mazda in which they were travelling
overturned in BTM Layout in the early hours of Monday.
Archana died on the way to hospital. The Madivala traffic police
are investigating.
