Action sought against Mayor

CHENNAI, JUNE 4. The Leader of the Opposition in the Chennai Corporation Council, Mr. Vetrivel, and the AIADMK councillor, Mr. `Karate' Thyagarajan, have urged the Chief Minister, Ms. Jayalalitha, to initiate action against the Mayor, Mr. M.K. Stalin.

Listing various corruption charges against the Mayor, they submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister at the Secretariat today.
