Winslet to play Mother Teresa?

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JUNE 4. Ms. Kate Winslet, star of `Titanic' and `Sense and Sensibility', is likely to play Mother Teresa in a full-length English feature film on the missionary's life and times, to be directed by Mr. Rajeevnath. The director said his friends in Europe had contacted Ms. Winslet and she was interested in the project. The former West Bengal Chief Minister, Mr. Jyoti Basu, would be a character in the film.

Winner of the national award for his Malayalam film, `Janani,' Mr. Rajeevnath recently made an English movie, `Mamma is Waiting', at Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan.
