Elected to Rajya Sabha

GUWAHATI, JUNE 4. Dr. Manmohan Singh (Congress) and Mr. Indramoni
Bora (BJP) were declared elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha
from Assam today, the last date for withdrawal, as they were the
only two candidates for the two vacancies.
PTI reports from New Delhi:
The Uttar Pradesh BJP chief, Mr. Kalraj Mishra, and the party's
Punjab unit vice president, Bibi Gurcharan Kaur, and Rao Man
Singh of Indian National Lok Dal were also declared elected
unopposed to the Rajya Sabha.
