Good start by Windies
GEORGETOWN, MARCH 9. West Indies was 101 for one at lunch after
deciding to bat, on the first day of the first Test against South

Chris Gayle (48) and Marlon Samuels (31) were at the crease. The
batsman out was Wavell Hinds for 13, the wicket going to Shaun
Pollock.

of green grass. The weather was warm with a light breeze.
