Maria Sharapova won the last four games to beat 12th-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland 7-6 (4), 7-5 on Monday at the French Open and reach her first Grand Slam quarterfinal in two years.

The seventh-seeded Sharapova has won the other three major tournaments once apiece, but is still looking for her first title at Roland Garros.

Against Radwanska, the 2006 French Open junior champion, Sharapova fell behind 4-1 in the first set and 5-3 in the second before turning things around. Sharapova saved five set points in the second.

The Russian was the more aggressive player and finished with far more winners, 47-13, and unforced errors, 44-12.
