Sania & Nuria in semi-final

Sania Mirza and Nuria Llagostera of Spain won a marathon battle 4-6, 6-4, 16-14 against Julia Georges of Germany and Barbora Strykova of Czech Republic to move into the women's doubles semi-final of the $4.8 million China Open tennis championship in Beijing on Thursday, according to information received here.

The Hyderabad-based Sania and her partner staged a remarkable come back after losing the first set and trailing 0-2 in the second one. The duo also saved two match-points in the third set super ti-break before winning the match.
